My friend Guy found a half dozen discarded work permits of migrant workers on a construction site. I made these two drawings from this group. The actual size of the drawings are just a big larger than the passport pictures they are based on.

I've been drawing more than painting lately, but here is a recently completed painting that I'm quite happy with. It's from a grocery store advertisement for a sale on onions, garlic, carrots and cabbage.
